Thumb Creek in the remote north-west corner of the Nambucca Valley near my Dad's farm. Near the beginning of the photos are photos taken at the Bellbrook Pub on the Upper Macleay River which we passed through on our way to Thumb Creek. Bellbrook is actually where the great Aussie country singer Slim Dusty was born and bred.

Collambatti lookout is a 19 Km hike or drive west of my Dad's Farm, deep in the forest. Driving from my Dad's farm might be somewhat difficult at the moment, as the road just two kilometres from the lookout has subsided due to huge floods in May 2009. I was walking there, so I was able to walk around it. It has been a favourite of mine since my school days, with great views. Since it is so deep in the forest, for the whole ten hours I was away, I did not see a single soul. I was all alone. Well worth the 38 Km round walk.
